Hamilton
Hamilton, a town with a lost identity. Move the needles out the way, the discarded poo bags and broken bottles, scratch the surface and you will find its once rich history and identity lurking, waiting to be reignited.
A town full of good people who have plodded a long and watched as its once vibrant town centre be decimated, firstly by poor planning and judgement and then by Covid.
Hopefully through time Hamilton will get its identity back.
These photographs were taken almost 10 years ago, not a lot has changed other than a new hotel on the site of an old hotel that lay empty for a decade.
