Time WaitsFor No One

A cyclist passes a still boat, placing movement and waiting in the same frame.

Time Waits for No One is a gallery about what remains. Not grand history, but quieter evidence: closed places, weathered structures, worn surfaces, old routes and rooms that seem to hold on to what once passed through them.

These photographs are less about the event than the residue — the feeling that life has moved on, while something of it still stays behind.

Time does not announce itself. It stays in the things that remain.

Movement I

Closing Time

A closed building stands in the quiet after its working day has ended. — 01Past Closing Time

Movement II

Movement and Stasis

A transport scene holds the remembered promise of departure. — 09We Were Going Somewhere

Lines of movement flow across the photograph while fixed forms remain behind. — 11Everything Moves Eventually

The needle and face of an old instrument preserve traces of repeated use. — 12What the Needle Remembered

Rich blue paint and orange rust cover a weathered industrial surface. — 13Rust Remembers

We mistake stillness for permanence.

Structures

Ending

A small solitary tree stands beneath an immense sky in an empty field. — 26The Last Thing Standing

Moonlight forms a pale river through surrounding darkness. — 27A River Made of Moonlight
